Role Description The Assisted Living Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with all applicable regulations. This full-time, on-site role in Raleigh, NC includes supervising staff, coordinating resident admissions and assessments, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The Administrator will manage budgets, monitor supplies and facility maintenance, and develop policies and procedures that support safe, efficient operations. The role involves regular communication with residents, families, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies to address concerns, plan care, and support a positive living experience. The Administrator also leads quality improvement efforts, staff training, and emergency preparedness activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living communities, assisted living, or long-term care settings, with a strong understanding of resident-centered care.
• Knowledge of independent living principles and the ability to support residents in maintaining autonomy and daily functioning.
• Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with residents, families, staff, and external partners, including clear documentation and reporting.
• Budgeting, basic financial management, and resource planning skills to oversee operational costs and ensure sustainability.
• Relevant licensure or certification as required by North Carolina regulations for assisted living administrators, or eligibility to obtain it.
• Demonstrated leadership, team supervision, and conflict resolution abilities in a care environment.
• Knowledge of state and local regulations related to assisted living, safety, and residents’ rights.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, social services, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Raleigh, NC and respond to urgent issues as needed.
