Employment Type: Per Diem

Shift: Days Weekends

Hours Per Week: As scheduled

Hiring range: $23.42/hr. - $31.33/hr.

Below are the shift differentials based on eligible shifts worked:

• Weekday evening shift - additional 10%
• Weekday night shift - additional 15%
• Weekend day shift - additional 10%
• Weekend evening & night shifts - additional 21%

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

• Attaches connects and operates electrodes from specified body areas to leads from electrocardiograph
• Reviews patients record and instructs patients prior to Monitors patient during procedures and reports any abnormal findings.
• Identifies and corrects for Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
• Maintains EKG equipment and supplies.

Complexity of Work:

• Within scope of job requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience or Associates degree or Technical degree required.

Work Experience:

• None required.
